School Auction Raises £7,000 for Year 12 Tanzania Trip

Our school auction on 15th March proved a resounding success, generating over £7,000 in funds for the school's upcoming Tanzania trip in partnership with charity Go MAD.

The event, held in our state-of-the-art theatre, featured sought-after prizes such as signed memorabilia from Jack Grealish, Twickenham Stadium tickets, and a first edition of "David Copperfield”. A bidding war broke out for our chef to cater and serve a dinner for six in the winner’s own home.

The auction attracted a full house, with attendees enjoying a 3 course dinner, whilst demonstrating remarkable generosity in their bids. A huge thanks to everyone involved in making the evening such an amazing success.  The funds raised will have a tangible impact on our much anticipatedTanzania trip later this year and Go MAD’s mission to help improve the health and living standards of villagers in the Diocese of Mara. The event's success underscores our commitment to both educational enrichment and global citizenship.
