Thames Christian School is a co-educational independent school for pupils aged 11-18.
In a city full of schools, we offer something different: an artisanal education, carefully crafted for each child as an individual helping them to feel known and valued.
As a school of around 200 pupils, Thames is large enough to offer a remarkably broad curriculum yet small enough for every pupil to be known.
Our second set of A Level results have surpassed the first. Not only have our leavers gained some impressive university places, degree-apprenticeships or work placements but, most importantly, they have grown into outstanding young people. They include future engineers, artists and scientists who will bring creativity and compassion to all aspects of life. What unites them all is the sense of purpose they learn here.
Thames is situated two minutes walk from Clapham Junction in a spacious, modern RIBA award winning building.

Genuinely small classes, a broad and flexible curriculum enabling highly individualised pathways, strong relationships and a commitment to every child’s growth. This drives our personalised approach to guiding each child as they nurture their talents and strengths.
