Worldwise Quiz Winners

Many congratulations to Stanley (Year 10), Eddie and Percy (Year 7) who won the Geographical Association Worldwise Quiz held at Hampton School recently, beating teams from Lady Eleanor Holles and Hampton School amongst others. The team called themselves ‘Relatively Good Geographers’, however with that result they were certainly more than relatively good. The quiz format involves a University Challenge style face-to-face quiz for multiple teams of three students, aimed at the Y8–10 age range. Our geographers have been preparing for the quiz on Friday afternoons throughout this term. Our second team, Micah, Sam and Oliver D (Year 8), also did really well having been in second place until over half way through the quiz.
