Year 10s Cook Up a Storm: Pasta Perfection in the Kitchen

On Thursday, our Year 10 students rolled up their sleeves and got creative in the kitchen, making pasta from scratch during their cookery class. Using a recipe by renowned chef Angela Hartnett, the students learned how to mix, knead, and roll their own dough, before using a pasta machine to cut perfect pasta shapes. The classroom was filled with enthusiasm as they worked together, and the results were nothing short of delicious! The hands-on experience allowed the students to develop new culinary skills, and the sense of pride in their homemade creations was clear. Not only did they enjoy the process, but tasting the freshly made pasta was a definite highlight of the day. Well done to all of our budding chefs in Year 10 – we can’t wait to see what you cook up next!
