Geography Students Excel at Seaford: From Stormy Skies to Coastal Exploration

This week, our GCSE and A Level Geography students set off for Seaford, East Sussex braced for a truly biblical weather forecast. Upon arrival they were greeted with steadily brightening skies, which enabled them to undertake an energetic and enthusiastic investigation of evidence for longshore drift along the bay. Students carried out coastal fieldwork techniques that are commonly examined at GCSE, collected data to help the A Level students with a coursework project, and had a thoroughly enjoyable hike and picnic on Seaford Head cliffs. A huge well done to all our Year 10-13 students for their great energy and teamwork throughout the day - there is no such thing as bad weather!
