Floyd Steadman OBE Inspires Thames Christian School with Remarkable Life Story

Floyd Steadman OBE, an inspirational figure in both rugby and philanthropy, captivated the entire student body of Thames Christian School with his extraordinary life journey. Steadman, who broke barriers as the first black captain of a Premiership rugby club at the tender age of 23 with Saracens, shared his experiences of overcoming challenges.

Recently recognized with the RFU Council's prestigious Rose Award for his contributions to rugby and honoured with an OBE for his dedication to education and charity, Steadman continues to make a profound impact. Now working with the Drive Forward Foundation and other charitable organisations, he devotes his efforts to empowering young people to reach their fullest potential.

Steadman's visit to the school left a lasting impression, as students were inspired by his message of facing challenges with dignity and kindness.
