Thames Christian School Dedicates Eleanor Steele Library

We were delighted to hold the official opening of the Eleanor Steele Library, dedicated to our late English teacher Eleanor Steele. Eleanor was a valued member of the Thames community from 2006 to 2019 as a parent and teacher. Her love of English and Shakespeare led her to establish the original library. In her honour, guests enjoyed a special Shakespearean performance by the Thames Theatre Company which in true Shakespearean style, took place outdoors in one of our courtyards. The celebration was attended by her two sons, one of whom attended Thames, as well as past and current parents, students and teachers. The event celebrated Eleanor's lasting impact on the school and her passion to encourage reading, ensuring her legacy will inspire future generations of students.
